Welcome to the website of Ebenezer Baptist Chapel, Bounds Cross, Biddenden. We are situated on the A274 half way between the villages of Biddenden and Headcorn, at the crossroads with the roads to and from the villages of Smarden and Frittenden. It’s a rural location within the Weald of Kent close to where these four parishes meet.

We are an Independent Baptist Church formed over 140 years ago, Reformed and Evangelical in doctrine. We believe that the Bible is the Word of God, and base our beliefs solely on what is revealed in its pages. We consider its truths still relevant to our modern world and urge people everywhere to repent of their sin and believe the Gospel. We preach that salvation is by God’s grace, through faith in Jesus Christ alone.

All are warmly invited to come to the services held at our Chapel. Following the example of the first Christians we meet together to worship Almighty God on Sundays, the Lord’s Day, and at other times as advertised. Our worship aims to be reverent, with reading from the Bible, prayer, hymns, and Bible preaching and teaching.
